It's That Time of Year Again...
First of all, wow I completely lost track of time. Hello! Fear not, for all the time I've failed to update, I have been working away at revisions. It's...going. Slowly. But it's fine, slow and steady wins the race, or whatever.
November is just over a week away, which means another 50k challenge is on the horizon. I have been considering how best to handle this situation, given the fact that I don't want to put down my revisions to focus on a new draft. But I also don't want to miss the opportunity to get a solid start on Azure Lies. Naturally, the only solution to this problem is to do both! (What could possibly go wrong?)
A lot of my revision has been rewriting. I will count those words towards the 50k goal, but I will also aim to write at LEAST 1000 words towards Azure Lies each day. Obviously more if revising doesn't take as many. This way, I can (hopefully) keep up with my pace of having at minimum one chapter of Crimson Thorns revised per week, while still making some progress in the sequel.
There is nothing I want more than to share this story with the world, and I'm very excited to do so. I am trying to be a bit more present, posting on socials and keeping updates going, so look out for those!
Until next time! (Hopefully not several months down the line).
